We usually do daily, alternate-day, weekly or monthly meeting based on the requirements. We use Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, or telephone calls for scheduling/doing meetings. We provide customers with the access to our project management tool, which allows them to monitor the progress of project.
Additionally, for effective communication, we do working time overlap to minimize time zone issues. During this period, customers can interact with the entire team or resource(s) depending upon the requirement. Moreover, if a customer wants us to work at certain hours (i.e. outside local working hours), we can do that as well for a nominal pricing.
The number of resources deployed on a project depends totally upon the scale and complexity of the project. For a small project we allocate two developers, one tester and a UI/UX designer in the initial phase of the project. In addition, every project will have a Technical Architect, Business Analyst and Project Manager. Number of resources will increase/decrease depending upon the customer/project requirements.
We are bound by confidentiality agreement, and will be unable to share exact details. A large number of developers are a part of our pool, working on different projects. At different times, the available resources can be different and unique. Be assured that only the best quality, trained and experienced resources will work on the project to meet requirements.
An Intellectual Property contract and Non-Disclosure Agreement is signed between the customer and us before the start of each project, and a similar agreement is signed between our employees and us. In addition, we audit processes and train employees on a regular basis to ensure our customers' intellectual property is always secure.
We use GitHub, Azure repos for most of our projects but we also have a lot of experience with Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server, and other popular version control systems.
Tech lead code review and peer code review is a part of our standard development process. Only after the verification, the software is released for testing.
A software requirement specification (SRS) document is prepared and signed off by both the parties before the start of a project.
User training documents and manuals are provided if agreed upon and mentioned in the SRS document.
We have a standard process of handling change requests from customers. First, we seek their approval for any change request. After the customer approval, impact analysis is done. This allows us to estimate cost and effort timelines. On the customer approval of the estimates, we implement the changes.
For a typical development project, we provide a complementary warranty and support for 45 days. In this period, any catastrophic bug found which can be missed in the user acceptance testing, will be fixed.
